Sasha was transgender at the beginning of her high school years. Sasha had to face some tough times however she was confident that his family was there to support him, and music was a way to help. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters. They have been playing at local venues, open mics, and at other venues. The Voice's coaches avoided talking about Sasha's past, however Jim shared his life through an intro video prior to his performance. Jim and Sasha talked about what they love to listen to and the way Sasha picked up the guitar first when she was six. It was the fact that his father was a teacher made it easier for Sasha to become proficient in the art. Sasha faced identity issues in his youth, being a woman. In a post on Instagram the teen shared his struggles. Jim felt emotional as he outlined his reasons for not being in a position to assist through these challenging circumstances. Sasha Allen's birth occurred in the form of a woman. Sasha Allen's age is expected to be 19 in 2021. Sasha started to change from male when he first began the high school. Sasha said on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person ever to make it on the show and I'm delighted to represent transgender people in such a broad platform."
